• Propose action plans based on time-motion study findings.

Pre‑work

• Identify the NHs and SCCs to be involved in the studies.
• Identify current processes within the NH/ SCCs.
• Discuss with stakeholders on the ideal objectives for the identified processes.
• Discuss with stakeholders on the challenges and constraints faced.
• Select the processes that would be prioritised for the study (maximum of 2 NHs and 2 SCCs’ solutions).

During Time‑Motion Studies (both “As‑is” and “To‑be”)

• Shadow the relevant providers and residents in the selected areas (e.g. wards/ kitchen, SCCs, etc).
• Log the activities and findings
• “To‑be” studies will be conducted in NHs/ SCCs that have implemented the proposed technological solutions.

Analysis after Time‑Motion Studies (“As‑is”)

• Map out the “As‑is” processes
• Map the findings to the quality drivers and impact areas
• Propose the action plans.

Analysis after Time‑Motion Studies (“To‑be”)

• Map out the “To‑be” processes
• Identify the benefits brought about by the technological solutions that were implemented.
