Job summary

YeahPay Singapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Business Development Manager (Payments/Merchant Acquiring) with 2–5 years’ experience to drive revenue growth and expand the merchant acquiring portfolio.

You will prospect, pitch, onboard clients and collaborate with internal teams to enable smooth onboarding and ongoing support. The role requires strong client relations, negotiation skills, and knowledge of fintech payment solutions, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Excellent at building client relations, communication, presentation and negotiation.
• Proven track record of acquiring new clients and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Preferred experience in fintech, payment solutions, and merchant services including acquiring models and fee structures.
• Knowledge of POS, QR, e-commerce, omnichannel payment solutions and card schemes.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end merchant acquisition through prospecting, lead generation, pitches and onboarding coordination.
• Build and sustain relationships with merchants, PSPs, banks, aggregators, and payment partners to drive growth.
• Identify and pursue opportunities across payment channels (POS, QR, online/offline, ecommerce, alt-payments).
• Consistently achieve revenue, transaction and merchant acquisition targets.
• Prepare sales proposals, develop pricing models, and support negotiations for profitable deals.
• Collaborate with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Product to ensure seamless onboarding and lifecycle support.
• Monitor sales activities, pipeline progression and performance metrics.
• Participate in market research and competitive analysis to strengthen market positioning.
• Support strategic initiatives like new payment channels and cross-border acquiring.
