Job summary

Hudson RPO Asia Pacific is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer for a leading chemical industry client in Singapore. You will support planning, execution, and monitoring of plant engineering activities to ensure safe and reliable operations.

The role requires 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in process industries, knowledge of RCA, SAP/CMMS, and a proactive, hands-on mindset to drive continuous improvement and maintain up‑to‑date documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in process industries.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance, RCA and equipment reliability.
• Familiar with SAP or CMMS systems.
• Proactive, hands-on problem-solver with continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor maintenance activities to ensure safe plant operations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and implement root cause solutions.
• Lead risk assessments and process safety reviews to maintain standards.
• Drive improvements by analyzing equipment data and maintenance history.
• Maintain equipment records, datasheets and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for quality work.
• Own projects from planning to completion, within schedule, budget and safety requirements.
