Job summary

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) to drive mechanical maintenance programs, oversee corrective and preventive work, and ensure high equipment reliability across plants in Singapore.

The role requires hands-on experience with rotating and static equipment, strong RCA capability, and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders. Travel to plant sites will be needed as part of troubleshooting support.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of plant equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot rotating and static mechanical equipment.
• Strong ownership and team collaboration skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all mechanical maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
• Implement preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance programs for mechanical equipment and VIE backup systems.
• Maintain records in MAXIMO and generate monthly maintenance reports.
• Lead RCA for reliability issues and develop preventive actions.
• Respond on-site within 2 hours for call-back maintenance and rectify failures to minimize downtime.
• Ensure spare parts availability and stock control for plant equipment and VIE tanks.
• Execute work orders promptly and provide training to operation staff.
