CHEMICAL SPECIALTIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a highly experienced mechanical maintenance professional to lead maintenance of static and rotating equipment at the Singapore plant.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in mechanical and maintenance functions.
• 5 years supervisory experience in an oil and gas installation is critical.
• Practical experience in repair and maintenance of static and rotating equipment including reciprocating compressors, piping and valves.
• Conversant with local codes, regulations and standards; knowledge of vibration/other analysis methods is advantageous.
• A team player with high self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision; diplomatic, pro-active and well organized.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of static and rotating equipment at the plant (pumps, compressors, vessels, piping, valves, ASTs, pressure vessels).
• Maintain plant maintenance programme and service records; ensure safety and minimal disruption to operations.
• Review mechanical design inputs for new equipment and minor projects; preserve mechanical integrity.
• Oversee contract maintenance to ensure standards, procedures and permit-to-work compliance.
• Supervise subcontractors, procure tools/spares/resources and update inventory.
• Develop and update maintenance plans to minimise disruptions and redundant work.
• Analyze equipment performance to identify anomalies and propose improvements to extend lifespan and reduce costs.
• Ensure plans align with engineering standards and regulatory guidelines; participate in emergency response as needed.
