Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a lead for operations and M&E systems in Singapore. You will manage maintenance programs, plan projects from design to handover, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to achieve objectives.

You will oversee schedules, safety, cost control, and quality while driving improvements across large-scale facilities and infrastructure. A strong engineering background and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of local Singapore building regulations and fire safety standards.
• Experience managing mechanical engineering projects in commercial/industrial facilities.
• Experience supervising contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical professionals responsible for maintenance and operational readiness of M&E systems.
• Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for critical facilities infrastructure.
• Manage mechanical and building services projects from conceptual design through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved.
• Review engineering designs, technical specifications, and project documentation for compliance and quality.
• Oversee site activities, monitor project schedules, and manage safety, quality, and cost performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

The Successful Applicant

• Hands-on knowledge of M&E systems, equipment maintenance, and lifecycle management
