Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager in Singapore to oversee planning, technical coordination and delivery of building and infrastructure projects.

You will lead M&E planning, review designs, coordinate with consultants and contractors, and drive cost optimisation while maintaining quality and safety across a large portfolio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in M&E construction planning, technical coordination and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of M&E building services, installation methods, construction technologies and QA standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Good commercial awareness to manage cost, quality and productivity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with large-scale projects, ideally >S$100 million.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&E planning and coordination for building and infrastructure projects, covering technical proposals, budgeting, procurement and quality requirements.
• Review M&E designs, shop drawings and technical submissions to ensure compliance, functionality and buildability.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and coordinate design requirements.
• Support tender preparation, contractor sourcing, tender evaluation and appointment of consultants and contractors.
• Drive value engineering and cost optimisation without compromising quality, safety or performance.
• Oversee M&E project execution, monitoring progress, budgets, quality and defect rectification.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams and coordinate stakeholders for smooth delivery.
• Assist long-term equipment maintenance and asset replacement planning where required.

Our client is an established A1 main contractor in Singapore with experience delivering large-scale building and infrastructure projects.

They are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee M&E planning, technical coordination and project delivery, working closely with consultants, contractors and internal project teams to achieve project objectives in cost, quality and programme.

Requirements

• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
• Good commercial awareness, with the ability to manage cost, quality and productivity.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with large-scale projects, particularly projects exceeding S$100 million, would be advantageous.

• Salary: up to S$9,200 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
