Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Singapore seeks a motivated student to advance polymer materials for electronic packaging as part of the materials innovation team. You will review literature, design and run experiments, and characterize materials, while exploring AI-assisted discovery and development for EMC formulations.

You will work under a mentor, gain hands-on experience with MATLAB and Python, and present technical results to local and global teams.

Qualifications

Undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant field, pursuing a degree.
Strong foundation in polymer materials or related materials science topics.
Experience with literature reviews and experimental design is a plus.

Responsibilities

Literature Review: conduct literature review of polymers used in electronic packaging.
DOE Planning & Execution: plan and conduct Design of Experiments (DOE).
Experimental Investigation: identify and investigate factors in experiments setup.
Materials Characterization: perform materials characterization and evaluation.
AI Application Exploration: explore AI in material development.
Technical Presentations: deliver presentations to local and global teams.
Internship Learning Outcomes: capture skills developed during the internship.
