Job summary

Infineon Technologies invites students to join the Materials Innovation Team in Singapore as an intern. You will explore state-of-the-art polymer solutions for electronic packaging, simulate material properties, and contribute to EMC formulation development while investigating AI-assisted materials discovery.

You will gain hands-on experience with literature reviews, DOE planning, material characterization, and technical presentations to global teams, under mentor guidance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency with MATLAB and Python is preferred.
• Interest in polymers for electronic packaging and AI-enabled discovery.
• Ability to design and interpret literature reviews and DOE plans.
• Strong communication and presentation skills to share results.

Responsibilities

• Conduct literature review of polymers used in electronic packaging.
• Plan and execute Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Identify and investigate factors in experimental setups.
• Perform materials characterization and evaluation.
• Explore AI applications in material development.
• Deliver technical presentations to local and global teams.
