Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Singapore seeks a motivated student to advance polymer materials for electronic packaging as part of the materials innovation team. You will review literature, design and run experiments, and characterize materials, while exploring AI-assisted discovery and development for EMC formulations.

You will work under a mentor, gain hands-on experience with MATLAB and Python, and present technical results to local and global teams.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate student in a relevant field, pursuing a degree.
• Strong foundation in polymer materials or related materials science topics.
• Experience with literature reviews and experimental design is a plus.

As part of the materials innovation team and under the guidance of an assigned mentor, the student will undertake projects focused on advancing polymer materials for electronic packaging. The role will involve exploring “state-of-the-art” polymer solutions, simulating and calculating key material properties, and contributing to formulation development for Encapsulating Material Compounds (EMC).
