Job summary

ST Engineering's Commercial Aerospace procurement team in Singapore is seeking a coordinator to manage aircraft spares for induction, coordinating with customers, production, and planning to understand material requirements.

You will liaise with production, stock control, purchasing, receiving and forwarders to monitor and expedite critical materials, prepare KPI reports, and support MR P optimizations while maintaining strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Data Analytics.
• Knowledge and familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal skill and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations.
• Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the provision of aircraft spares for aircraft induction.
• Coordinate with customers, production, and planning staff to understand the material requirements.
• Liaise with Production, Customer, Stock Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping and Freight forwarders to monitor and priorities/ expedite all outstanding critical/ urgent aircraft materials required for the project.
• Liaise with production/customer to resolve long lead-time material demands.
• Ensure appropriate approval from customers / management prior to spares procurement and/or check customer's ERP system for stock availability.
• Attend pre-induction meeting and identify spares that potentially impact the aircraft re-delivery schedule / work stoppage/ disruption to production schedules.
• Prepare material status/inventory and KPI reports for customer and production.
• Perform review and analysis of frequently used materials for provisioning.
• Recommend MRP levels and optimising inventory levels.
• Ad hoc material and operational improvement tasks as and when assigned.
