Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking an experienced aviation engine technical professional to oversee maintenance events, manage engine records and coordinate engine transitions, including delivery and re-delivery.

You should have a Bachelor of Engineering and at least 5 years of aviation experience (MRO/airline/leasing). Familiarity with engines such as CFM56/LEAP/V2500/GTF and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in Aviation (MRO/Leasing). Engine management experience preferred.
• Familiar with CFM56, LEAP, V2500 or GTF engines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and spoken communication; ability to present to stakeholders.
• Able to work independently or in teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance events and manage engine-related actions.
• Budget and forecast technical cashflow for maintenance events.
• Review lessee workscope, upgrades and modifications evaluation.
• Coordinate engine transitions (delivery and re-delivery).
• Liaise with OEMs on product issues and in-service actions.
• Provide technical support for commercial activities and be first contact for technical departments.
• Support/lead procurement of OEM and 3rd party maintenance providers.

Job description

1. Support/ Manage engine technical matters, for valuation, deliveries, redeliveries and lease restructuring, such as:

• Providing oversight on maintenance events
• Budgeting and advising on technical cashflow for maintenance events forecasting
• Reviewing / evaluating lessee workscope, upgrades and modifications evaluation
• Conducting mid term inspections for engines on lease
• Reviewing engine technical records
• Managing maintenance reserves – MR rates review, reimbursement, calculation and invoicing
• Coordinating engine transitions (delivery & re-delivery, re-possessions)

2. Provide Technical support for commercial activities and act as first point of contact for the technical departments of customers

3. Support/ Lead procurement of OEM, 3rd party maintenance and technical service providers

4. Liaise with OEMs to keep current on product issues, maintenance costs, in-service issues and actions

Requirements

1. Sound understanding of aviation authorities’ regulatory requirements, engines shop visit management, work scope creation, engine technical records and the aviation industry.

2. Minimum with Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Aerospace Engineering

3. At least 5 years of experience in the Aviation industry (MRO / Airline / Leasing). Candidates with engine management experience (CFM56 / LEAP / V2500 / GTF) preferred.

4. Proficient in using Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel and PowerPoint

5. Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills

6. Good interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills

7. Able to work independently and/or with a team
