Job summary

ST Engineering Aerospace Services Company PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Facilities Technician to support the Plant & Maintenance section. The role focuses on maintaining building facilities and equipment to ensure reliable operations.

You will perform routine inspections, respond to electrical trips, manage plumbing works, and assist with pneumatic systems, always upholding safety regulations and recording maintenance activities for supervisors.

Qualifications

  • NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent in Electrical/Facilities Management.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase wiring.
  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems preferred.
  • Hands-on, proactive, able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Able to respond to emergency maintenance situations when required.
  • Good problem-solving skills with a strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of building facilities and equipment.
  • Attend to electrical power trips and carry out troubleshooting to identify and rectify electrical faults.
  • Conduct maintenance and repair works involving electrical systems, including single-phase and three-phase wiring installations.
  • Support the repair, replacement, and installation of electrical components and equipment.
  • Carry out plumbing maintenance works, including repairing toilet leaks and replacing water pipes, fittings, valves, and associated fixtures.
  • Assist in the inspection, repair, and replacement of pneumatic components, fittings, and related systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and facility breakdowns to minimize operational disruption.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in accordance with safety regulations, company procedures, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain proper records of maintenance work performed and report any major issues to supervisors.

Job Requirements

  • Knowledge of pneumatic systems and components is preferred.
