Job summary

ST Engineering’s Commercial Aerospace business, based in Singapore, seeks a procurement/ Materials Coordinator to manage aircraft spares provisioning for induction projects. The role interfaces with customers, production, planning and logistics to ensure timely availability of critical materials.

You will review and expedite spares, monitor stock levels, and prepare status and KPI reports. SAP proficiency and data analytics know-how are advantageous as you operate under pressure to meet

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Basic knowledge of Data Analytics.
• Knowledge and familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
• Possess strong interpersonal skill and a positive attitude to handle challenging customers and resolve tense situations.
• Able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the provision of aircraft spares for aircraft induction.
• Coordinate with customers, production, and planning staff to understand the material requirements.
• Liaise with Production, Customer, Stock Control, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping and Freight forwarders to monitor and prioritise/ expedite all outstanding critical/ urgent aircraft materials required for the project.
• Liaise with production/customer to for resolution of long lead-time material demands.
• Ensure appropriate approval from customers / management prior to spares procurement and/or check customer's ERP system for stock availability.
• Attend pre-induction meeting and identify spares that potentially impact the aircraft re-delivery schedule / work stoppage/ disruption to production schedules.
• Responsible for preparing material status/inventory and KPI reports for customer and production.
• Perform review and analysis of frequently used materials for provisioning.
• Responsible for recommending MRP levels and optimising inventory levels.
• Ad hoc material and operational improvement tasks as and when assigned
