Job summary

ST Engineering is seeking a hands-on Engine Maintenance Technician in Singapore to conduct disassembly from modular to piece-part level, inspect and clean engine components, and re-assemble engines for testing. You will perform assembly or disassembly work at section level to meet production schedules and upkeep assigned equipment, tooling, and fixtures.

You will support EHS and Continuous Improvement initiatives, ensure compliance with manuals and regulatory requirements, and work as a team

Qualifications

• NITEC or Poly diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical & Aerospace Technology.
• At least 2 years’ work experience in disassembly/assembly/inspection in aviation industry.
• Prior aviation engine MRO experience is an advantage.
• Technical skills in lock-wiring, torque application and manual interpretation.

Job description

• Perform assembly or disassembly work at section level to meet production schedule.
• Upkeep & maintain assigned equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Support and participate in EHS and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

Key Job Accountabilities

• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with engine manuals, approved technical data and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure strict compliance to all EHS regulations.
• A team player with effective communication/ interpersonal skills.
• Ability to support overtime production work on ad-hoc basis as and when necessary.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• NITEC or Poly diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical & Aerospace Technology
