The role focuses on enhancing market presence, building client relationships and driving growth in the Singapore M&E sector. The ideal candidate has 5 years of marketing/BD experience in construction, strong communication skills, and a solid grasp of industry dynamics.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Marketing, Construction Management, Engineering or related discipline.
• Mandatory experience in the construction M&E industry.
• 5 years of marketing/business development experience within construction, M&E, engineering or built environment.
• Strong understanding of the Singapore construction and M&E industry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing and BD strategies for the Company's M&E construction capabilities, projects, services and expertise.
• Identify new business opportunities, potential clients and market segments within the construction and M&E industry.
• Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors and emerging opportunities.
• Support business development activities, including preparation of company profiles, presentations, proposals and marketing materials.
• Develop and maintain the Company's corporate branding and marketing communications.
• Coordinate marketing campaigns, corporate events, industry networking activities and client engagement initiatives.
• Work closely with management to develop strategies for strengthening the Company's market positioning.

Job Description

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and business development strategies to enhance the Company's market presence, strengthen client and stakeholder relationships, and support business growth within the M&E construction industry.

The role requires a strong understanding of the construction/M&E environment, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to identify opportunities, analyse market information and develop practical marketing strategies aligned with the Company's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Marketing & Business Development
   Develop and implement marketing strategies and initiatives to promote the Company's M&E construction capabilities, projects, services and expertise.
   Identify new business opportunities, potential clients and market segments within the construction and M&E industry.
   Conduct market research and monitor industry trends, competitors and emerging opportunities.
   Support business development activities, including preparation of company profiles, presentations, proposals and marketing materials.
   Develop and maintain the Company's corporate branding and marketing communications.
   Coordinate marketing campaigns, corporate events, industry networking activities and client engagement initiatives.
   Work closely with management to develop strategies for strengthening the Company's market positioning.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
   Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, developers, suppliers and other relevant stakeholders.
   Establish and maintain positive professional relationships with key clients and industry stakeholders.
   Understand client requirements and coordinate internally to ensure appropriate responses and follow-up.
   Attend client meetings, networking events, site meetings and industry functions where required.
   Gather client and market feedback and communicate relevant information to management and internal teams.
3. Proposal & Tender Support
   Ensure marketing and proposal materials accurately reflect the Company's capabilities, experience and completed projects.
   Maintain an updated database of clients, business contacts, project opportunities and market intelligence.
4. Corporate Communications & Branding
   Develop and maintain corporate communication materials, including company brochures, presentations.
   Ensure consistency in the Company's corporate image, branding and external communications.
   Highlight the Company's project achievements, technical capabilities, certifications and industry experience.
   Coordinate corporate photography, project case studies and other marketing content.
5. Market Intelligence & Strategic Analysis
   Monitor construction and M&E industry developments, market trends and potential business opportunities.
   Analyse market information and provide insights to management to support business decisions.
   Demonstrate critical thinking and commercial awareness when evaluating business opportunities and marketing initiatives.
   Identify potential risks, challenges and opportunities and recommend practical solutions.
6. Internal Collaboration
   Work closely with Engineering, Project, Commercial, Procurement, HR and Operations teams to support business and marketing initiatives.
   Coordinate with internal stakeholders to obtain accurate project information and ensure timely completion of marketing and business development activities.
   Support management in strategic projects and other assignments as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in the construction M&E industry is mandatory.
• 5 years of marketing/business development experience within the construction, M&E, engineering or built environment sector.
• Strong understanding of the Singapore construction and M&E industry, including key stakeholders and business practices.
• Proven experience in client and stakeholder management.
• Able to understand technical information and translate it into clear and effective marketing or business development materials.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
