Job summary

FUJI TRADING (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a ship provisioning coordinator to support delivery and collection of consumables for vessels.

You will supply ships anchored in Singapore and international waters, accompany supply vessels, and ensure timely provisioning. Strong communication with ship personnel and port authorities is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maritime regulations and port procedures is required.
• Experience in ship chandling or related logistics is preferred.
• Diploma holder with relevant field is acceptable; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Attend onboard vessels for delivery and collection of consumables.
• Supply to ships and ocean-going vessels anchored in Singapore and international waters.
• Follow supply vessels to sea and ensure supplies are delivered correctly.
• Establish rapport with ship captains and masters.
• Communicate with port authorities and suppliers to coordinate provisioning.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Attend onboard vessels for delivery and collection of consumables

• To supply to ships and ocean-going vessels anchored in Singapore and international waters

• To follow supply vessels out to sea and ensure supply are properly delivered

• To establish good rapport with ship captain/ master

• Knowledge of maritime regulations and procedures would be an advantage

• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
  

Husbandry Agency Skills & Knowledge Required

• Maritime Regulations & Port Procedures (customs, immigration, safety compliance).

• Logistics Coordination (timely provisioning, spares delivery, crew transfers).

• Communication & Negotiation with port authorities, suppliers, and ship owners.

• Problem-Solving Under Pressure (handling delays, emergencies).

• Local Knowledge of port operations and contacts for smooth facilitation

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma certificate with relevant field

• Relevant experience in ship chandling environment an added advantage

• Aggressive with good interpersonal skills

• Able to work long hours and cope with tight delivery schedules

• Computer literate

• Inexperienced Diploma holders are welcome, training will be provided

• Able to communicate and negotiate with ship personnel independently

• Preferably with Class 3 Driving License
