Job summary

FUJI TRADING (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a dependable ship chandling assistant to support delivery and provisioning for onboard vessels in Singapore and international waters.

You will attend onboard vessels, coordinate with ship personnel, and ensure timely deliveries while complying with maritime regulations. This role requires good interpersonal skills, the ability to work long hours, and a Class 3 driving license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE O/N level
• Experience in ship chandling is an advantage
• Able to work long hours under tight delivery schedules
• Able to communicate and negotiate with ship personnel independently
• Preferably with Class 3 Driving License

Responsibilities

• Attend onboard vessels for delivery and collection of consumables
• Supply to ships and ocean-going vessels anchored in Singapore and international waters
• Follow supply vessels out to sea and ensure supply are properly delivered
• Establish good rapport with ship captain/ master
• Knowledge of maritime regulations and procedures would be an advantage
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Knowledge of maritime regulations and procedures would be an advantage
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE N or O level
• Relevant experience in ship chandling environment an added advantage
• Aggressive with good interpersonal skills
• Able to work long hours and cope with tight delivery schedules
• Computer literate
• Inexperience Diploma holders are welcome, training will be provided
• Able to communicate and negotiate with ship personnel independently
• Preferably with Class 3 Driving License
