The Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration (SCMA) invites a dynamic professional to lead strategy and market development. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, engaging industry stakeholders, and creating programmes to boost SCMA's visibility and growth in Singapore and beyond.

The successful candidate will bring strong strategic thinking, market research, business development and stakeholder engagement skills, with a keen interest in maritime arbitration and international trade.

Qualifications

• Training in Business Administration, Marketing, Maritime Studies, Law, International Relations or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in strategy, business development, stakeholder engagement or a related function.
• Experience in the shipping, maritime services, international trade, legal or arbitration sectors would be advantageous.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and proposal-writing skills.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, resourceful and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel overseas where required.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and market development to expand SCMA's arbitration services.
• Engage key stakeholders in shipping, maritime services and trade sectors.
• Develop and run industry outreach programmes and events.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver programmes.
• Secretariat duties including meetings and member tracking.
