Job summary

Singapore International Arbitration Centre in Singapore seeks an Assistant Manager (Legal), Strategy & Development, or Manager (Legal), Strategy & Development to lead market development and strategic initiatives. You will plan outreach, build global networks, and produce publications to promote international arbitration.

The role requires a law degree with at least three years PQE, strong drafting and writing skills, and Mandarin proficiency for engagements with Chinese stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Law degree required and PQE of at least three years.
• Strong drafting and writing skills with attention to detail.
• Interpersonal and communication abilities essential.
• Mandarin Chinese proficiency required for certain engagements.
• Experience in international arbitration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement market development strategies for new markets and sectors.
• Plan and execute outreach events, courses and engagements in Singapore and overseas.
• Build relationships with SIAC’s global stakeholders and networks.
• Organise visits and conduct presentations for international visitors.
• Conduct research and analyse trends in international arbitration and legal services.
• Prepare annual reports, press releases, newsletters, and outreach materials.
• Contribute to thought leadership and publish academic or training materials.
• Handle corporate communications, including media relations.
• Undertake Secretariat or case management work as required.
