Job summary

PENTAGON FREIGHT SERVICES (SINGAPORE) PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking a logistics coordinator to manage ship spares collection and delivery, and to liaise with customers on shipping requirements. The role involves coordinating ground logistics with third-party providers and ensuring accurate daily cargo reports.

The candidate should have a diploma in marine discipline or related technical qualifications, be able to work on site and in the office, and communicate effectively with customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and arrange collection/deliveries of ship's spares to vessels.
• Liaise with customers on shipping and logistics requirements.
• Coordinate and organize ground logistics with third-party providers.
• Update cargo release/receiving reports and distribute daily.
• Conduct physical cargo checks, marks and labels on received cargo.
• Organize vessel clearance with relevant agencies and port calls.
• Coordinate with authorities on marine/crew applications.
• Work independently without supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and arrange the collection/deliveries of ship's spares from/to vessels


• Liaise with customers on their shipping and logistical requirements


• Coordinate and organize the ground logistics with 3rd party service provider.


• Update cargoes releasing and receiving in report accurately and distribute daily


• Conduct physical cargoes check, marks, label on cargoes received


• Organize Vessel clearance with relevant agencies & port-call operations.


• Coordinate with relevant authorities on marine/crew application.


• Able to work independently without supervision

Requirements:

• Willing to work on site as well as in the office


• Prior experience in a marine service environment is of advantage


• Able to multi-task and be a team player


• Able to communicate with customers worldwide


• Preferred Diploma in Marine related discipline or any technical qualifications / Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
