We are seeking an experienced Marine Electronics Sales Executive to join the commercial team and drive sales growth across the marine market. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, generating new business opportunities and supporting the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to post-sales support.
This role is well suited to a commercially driven professional with experience in marine electronics or marine camera solutions, strong B2B sales capabilities and an interest in developing long-term customer and channel relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and contribute to team revenue across the full sales cycle, including lead generation, customer enquiries, order processing and post-sales support.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, prospects and key accounts.
- Understand customer requirements and provide timely, accurate product and solution information.
- Prepare professionalsales proposals, quotations and commercial documentation.
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities and support sales strategy development.
- Manage and develop channel partners and assigned territories where required.
- Participate intrade shows, exhibitions, boat shows and customer demonstrationsto promote products and generate new business.
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts and pipeline reports, including weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Coordinate customer meetings, product demonstrations and sales activities.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer support.
- Resolve customer and sales-related issues through effective problem-solving and follow-up.
- Support other commercial and business development initiatives as required.
Requirements
- Minimum2 years of sales experience within marine electronics or marine camera solutions; recreational marine experience would be an advantage.
- B2B sales andkey account managementexperience.
- Experience managingsales channels, distributors or territories.
- Basic understanding of vessel navigation safety regulations and low-light / low-visibility navigation is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in person and via video conferencing.
- Comfortable with sales forecasting, pipeline management and performance reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a customer-focused approach.
- Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
- Willingness to travel forcustomer visits, exhibitions, boat shows and other business development activities.
