Job summary

A leading maintenance solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure operational reliability of machinery. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in food production. Responsibilities include executing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably food production.
• Knowledge of ISO/FSSC food safety standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsibilities

Machinery & Equipment Maintenance

• Execute routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and processing equipment to ensure operational reliability.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures on equipment including mixers, conveyors, packaging lines, ovens, chillers, and pumps.

Facilities and General Maintenance

• Perform repairs and upkeep of building facilities, utilities, fixtures, and fittings (e.g., plumbing, lighting, shelving, and doors).
• Assist in the installation, setup, and relocation of factory equipment and utility systems.

Safety, Compliance & Housekeeping

• Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including lock-out/tag-out procedures and equipment isolation practices.
• Ensure all maintenance work and work areas comply with food safety standards (ISO, FSSC) and internal hygiene requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
• 2-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment; food production preferred.
• Knowledge of ISO/FSSC food safety standards is a plus.
