Job summary

Genpact Consulting Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing IT Technical Support SME to collaborate with business users, manufacturing teams, automation groups, and IT/Digital teams. You will support, maintain, and enhance critical applications across shopfloor and enterprise environments, ensuring stable operations and continuous digital capability improvements.

You will bridge shopfloor operations with OT and enterprise IT, enabling data flow, dashboards, and actionable insights.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
5+ years of experience in a shopfloor application SME or equivalent.
Experience supporting enterprise or manufacturing applications.
Understanding of manufacturing systems such as MES, ERP, historians, or shopfloor digital applications.
Ability to troubleshoot industrial networks and machine connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business users, manufacturing teams, local automation teams, and IT/Digital teams to support, maintain, and enhance critical applications.
Design and implement integration of shopfloor systems, cloud platforms, and digital tools.
Enable connectivity between machines, PLCs, sensors, MES, historians, ERP, and analytics systems.
Provide end‑user support, training, and guidance for business applications.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps and opportunities within plant operations.
