Job summary

Genpact is seeking an IT SME to collaborate with business users, manufacturing teams, local automation teams, and IT/Digital teams to support, maintain, and enhance critical applications and digital solutions across shopfloor and enterprise environments.

The role requires strong technical expertise in IT systems, issue resolution, system integration, and user support to ensure stable operations and continuous improvement of digital capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a shopfloor application SME.
• Experience supporting enterprise or manufacturing-related applications.
• Understanding of manufacturing systems such as MES
• Ability to troubleshoot industrial networks and machine connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• Shopfloor Digitalization & Collaboration: Work with manufacturing shopfloor teams, automation engineers, process engineers, and IT/Digital teams to implement and enhance digital solutions across production operations.
• System Integration & IT/OT Connectivity: Design and implement integration of shopfloor systems, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and digital tools.
• Shopfloor Activities & Operational Enablement: Participate in shopfloor digital initiatives related to production monitoring, process optimization, quality visibility, downtime tracking, and workflow digitization.
• User Support & Continuous Improvement: Provide end-user support, training, and guidance for business applications; drive continuous improvement initiatives.
