Job summary

Vistra is seeking a Manager, Tax Services in Singapore. The role focuses on reviewing tax returns, advising clients on tax matters, and supervising staff to ensure high-quality service.

The position supports a fast-paced environment with opportunities to mentor teammates and contribute to marketing materials. The ideal candidate holds a degree in accounting with a tax qualification (SCTP preferred) and at least 5 years of tax experience in a mid-tier or large firm.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing projects and providing value-added solutions to clients.
• Experience in a mid-tier or large public accounting firm with at least 5 years of relevant tax experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications; strong communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Review corporate tax, GST, and personal tax returns.
• Assist clients with responding to enquiries from the Tax Authority.
• Provide comprehensive tax advice and solutions to a portfolio of clients across diverse industries.
• Share knowledge, develop resources, provide training, and supervise staff in the delivery of quality tax services.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, manage expectations, and ensure excellent client service.
• Develop product brochures and marketing materials.

Manager, Tax Services

This full-time and permanent position is based in Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review corporate tax, GST, and personal tax returns.
• Assist clients with responding to enquiries from the Tax Authority.
• Provide comprehensive tax advice and solutions to a portfolio of clients across a diverse range of industries.
• Share knowledge, develop resources, provide training, and supervise staff in the delivery of quality tax services.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, manage their expectations, and ensure excellent client service.
• Develop product brochures and marketing materials.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in managing projects and the ability to provide value-added solutions to clients.
• Experience working in a mid-tier or large public accounting firm, with at least 5 years of relevant tax experience.
• A recognised university degree in accounting, with a tertiary qualification in Tax. Ideally accredited by SCTP.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Good communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
