Job summary

ALPS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to manage layout optimization, inventory control, and stock levels across stores. You will work with purchasing to prevent stock-outs, supervise a team, and drive process improvements including digitalization initiatives.

Candidate should have a Diploma/Degree in management or logistics with supervisory experience, proficiency in MS Office, and familiarity with SAP/WMS is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in management or logistics or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with SAP and WMS is advantageous; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Manage a good physical layout and maximize storage space.
• Maintain inventory control using FIFO/FEFO.
• Maintain stocks at end-user areas according to par levels.
• Recommend adjustments to par levels based on usage.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to minimize stock-outs and optimize replenishment.
• Plan inventory counts and supervise stock takes.

• Ensure staff are trained for warehouse tasks.
• Track and report logistics performance.
• Supervise stores staff to align service with internal customers.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage a good physical layout and maximize storage space.

2. Maintain effective inventory control system for stores, following First In First Out (FIFO) or First Expired First Out (FEFO) method.

3. Maintain stocks at end user areas according to respective par levels.

4. Making recommendation on addition / reduction of par levels according to end users' usage.

5. Review and co-ordinate with Purchasing to optimize holding stocks to meet the department's objectives for "Days Inventory on Hand (DIOH) / Material replenishment planning and minimize the occurrence of stock-outs.

6. Plan inventory count and supervise stock take activities

7. Establish the necessary work instructions / procedures

8. To ensure staff are trained and made available to support warehouse tasks.

9. Track and report logistics performance.

10. Supervise store personnel to ensure alignment of service with the internal customers and compliance to all work processes (SOP). Conduct appraisal of staff, in conjunction with Store Manager

11. Oversee the work of the logistic associates assigned with the following tasks: cycle count, stock rotation of expiring drugs, checking and consolidation of inventory reports and discrepancies, record keeping of all transactions documents on monthly basis, storing flammable stocks only in flammable cupboards.

12. There will be managing logistics projects such as warehouse transformation, including digitalization and automation.

Job Requirements:

1. Diploma / Degree in management / Business Administration/ Logistic Supply Management and / or Certificate in Management in Logistic Supply Management

2. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

3. Experience in use of SAP and WMS is an advantage, but training will be provided

4. Supervisory Level to lead a team, experienced in leading a team is required.

5. Experienced in managing store is required

6. A team player with good interpersonal skills, able to work with people from different disciplines.

7. Self motivated

8. Prior experience in warehouse transformation, automation and digitalization would be an advantage
