Job summary

ALPS Pte Ltd is seeking a Logistics Assistant to be based at a Public Healthcare Institution in Singapore. The role involves receiving and distributing inventory, maintaining stock accuracy, and supporting hospital daily operations for patient care.

You will work in a team to handle deliveries, stock placement, and cycle counts, while communicating with hospital users. This position emphasizes inventory control and reliable logistics support.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to support receiving deliveries, put away to storage, pick supplies for distribution and process condemn return items.
• Ensure supplies are fulfilled in hospital and perform daily housekeeping for inventories.
• Generate reports for inventory related information.
• Monitor and review trends, participate in inventory management for the department/hospital.
• Perform accurate count during cycle count and stock take.
• Assist in administrative and operational needs for day-to-day store activities.

About The Role

As a Logistics Assistant in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the logistics support and inventory control within the PHI. Working in a team, you will receive and distribute inventory items and ensure inventory accountability and accuracy in the system. You will also communicate closely with hospital users to support in the hospital's daily operations for patients' care.

Key Responsibilities

• Work in a team to support the receiving of deliveries, putting away to storage supplies, picking of supplies for distribution and processing of condemn return items from users
• Ensure supplies are fulfilled in hospital and perform daily housekeeping for the inventories
• Generate reports for inventory related information
• Monitor and review trends, participate in inventory management for the department / hospital
• Perform accurate count during cycle count and stock take
• Assist in administrative and operational needs for day to day running of store activities

Requirements

• Nitec, Higher Nitec, GCE 'N' level or equivalent, with relevant store keeping experience
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good physical ability to lift heavy items
