Job summary

Pacific International Lines (PTE) Ltd is seeking a senior shipping professional in Singapore with 10+ years of relevant experience to manage and expand relationships within global freight networks. You will represent the company at international conferences and drive inbound, outbound, and cross-trade opportunities.

You will identify and onboard strategic overseas agents, generate agency-driven sales, and lead pricing and trade lane performance initiatives while ensuring adherence to global

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Maritime or related discipline.
• Highly numerate with good analytical thinking and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) & people management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow relationships within WCA and other global freight forwarder networks.
• Represent the company at international agent conferences and networking events.
• Promote the company as a preferred destination / origin agent for inbound, outbound, and cross-trade business.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard new strategic overseas agents aligned with trade lane strategy.
• Generate and develop agency-driven sales opportunities and follow up on RFQs and enquiries.
• Drive balanced, two-way cargo flows and manage trade lane performance.
• Work with pricing and operations teams to ensure competitive yet sustainable rate structures.
• Ensure compliance with global agent network rules, payment protection policies, and dispute protocols.
• Act as key escalation point for agent service, commercial, and dispute-related issues.

• Willing to Travel when required.
