The Manager, Operation will mainly responsible for end-to-end management of all insurance claims related to the company’s fleet. The Manager, Operation will also responsible for day to day operation, which include but not limited to; vendor management, data analysis, and vehicle life-cycle. This role required timely, accurate, and cost-effective processing within operation and claims, working closely with internal stakeholders, operations teams, and third-party partners.
The role is critical in minimizing fleet downtime and protecting the company’s financial exposure, while ensuring compliance with policy terms and internal governance standards.
This role is within the Operation Department and will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to Day Operation & Claims Management:
- Manage complete insurance claims lifecycle, ensuring timely submission, complete documentation, and provide proactive follow-up with insurers and adjusters
- Oversee vehicle onboarding, maintenance, performance
- Manage daily operations of the car sharing fleet (availability, utilization, cleanliness, readiness)
- Support expansion of fleet, new locations or partnerships
- Manage and train ground/operations staff
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Coordinating with vendors, command centre and field teams for daily operation
- Coordinating with insurers, loss adjusters, workshops to facilitate inspections, surveys, and repair approvals
- Handle escalations related to operations and accident
- Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure all claims are accurately documented, properly recorded, and fully compliant with policy terms, internal SOPs, and regulatory requirements
- Cost Control & Claims Optimisation:
- Monitor claims costs and trends, identify risks or inefficiencies to reduce incidents and insurance exposure
- Optimize Operations costs while maintaining service quality
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Produce claims performance reports and provide data-driven insights to management to improve risk management and claims outcomes
- Ensure SOPs are followed and continuously improved
- Track operational KPIs
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously enhance claims processes and SOPs to improve turnaround time, accuracy, and cost efficiency
Key Requirements
- Experience in managing fleet Operation and insurance claims
- Strong execution mindset — can get things done on the ground
- Familiar with working with insurers, loss adjusters, workshops, vendors
- Good understanding of motor insurance, claims processes, and vehicle repair costs.
- Able to manage high claim volumes with strong follow-up and attention to accuracy.
- Comfortable with data, dashboards, and operational metrics
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyse claims data and manage time effectively.
- Good communicator who can handle stakeholders, negotiations, and escalations professionally.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
- Willingness to handle on-call or urgent operational issues when required
