Ministry of Defence of Singapore is seeking a resource planning professional to forecast, size, and manage the budget for the Defence AI Office (DAIO). You will support prioritisation and allocation of scarce resources across MINDEF/SAF, monitor utilisation and performance, and ensure financial compliance and planning requirements are met.

With 2+ years in corporate planning or budgeting, you will collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, delivering accurate analysis

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, financial management, resource planning or budgeting preferred.
• Strong analytical and planning abilities.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

What The Role Is

You play a key role in planning and managing the resources required for the Defence Artificial Intelligence Office (DAIO) to drive AI transformation across the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).

What You Will Be Working On

• Forecast and size DAIO's resource requirements and develop its budget and workplan
• Provide analysis to support the prioritisation and allocation of resources across competing requirements
• Monitor resource utilisation and performance, and recommend adjustments where required
• Oversee financial compliance, audit and corporate planning requirements
• Manage resources supporting DAIO-sponsored AI transformation and technology projects across MINDEF/SAF

Challenge(s)

• Maintain a whole-of-portfolio view of evolving requirements to ensure limited resources are directed towards organisational priorities
• Working with multiple stakeholders and managing competing requirements in a fast-paced environment

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, financial management, resource planning, budgeting, or related areas is preferred
• Strong analytical and planning abilities
• Keen attention to detail
• Effective written and oral communication skills
