Job summary

MINDEF in Singapore seeks a seasoned professional to accelerate AI transformation by building and managing partnerships across industry, academia, and international partners. You will develop engagement strategies and drive change management to raise AI adoption within MINDEF/SAF.

Applicants should have 6+ years in stakeholder engagement or related areas, with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and the ability to coordinate across diverse teams.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships or communications.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated planning and coordination capabilities.
• Experience working with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders is advantageous.

Job description

What the role is:

You play a key role in building the partnerships and engagement needed to accelerate Artificial Intelligence (AI) transformation across the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). You develop and strengthen partnerships across the AI ecosystem to connect MINDEF/SAF with relevant AI expertise, technology and capabilities.

What you will be working on:

• Plan and execute change management initiatives to drive the awareness and adoption of AI
• Develop and implement communications and engagement strategies to support AI transformation efforts across MINDEF/SAF
• Support MINDEF/SAF's AI-related publicity and strategic communications
• Engage with stakeholders to align priorities and initiatives
• Build and strengthen partnerships across the AI ecosystem, including industry, academia and international partnersChallenge(s)
• Navigating a diverse and fast-evolving AI ecosystem, building strong relationships across organisational boundaries, and translating these relationships into tangible outcomes for MINDEF/SAF

What we are looking for:

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in stakeholder engagement, partnerships, communications, change management or related areas
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated planning and coordination abilities
• Ability to work across diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders is advantageous
