Job summary

Ministry of Manpower (MOM) is seeking a Manager for the AI & Data Office (AIDO) to lead data and AI initiatives, drive innovation, and collaborate with stakeholders across policy, operations, technology and data transformation.

You will plan and deliver analytics and AI projects, engage stakeholders to identify opportunities, and help shape organisational data and AI policies and processes. This role offers exposure to cross-functional challenges in a public sector context.

Qualifications

• Experience in project management, digital transformation, analytics, AI, data management, policy development, or stakeholder engagement.

What the role is:

The AI & Data Office (AIDO) drives the adoption of data and artificial intelligence across the Ministry of Manpower. As a Manager, you will contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives that strengthen data capabilities, support AI adoption, and enable innovation across the organisation. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify needs, deliver projects and support the implementation of data- and AI-related programmes. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of policy, operations, technology and data transformation.

What you will be working on:

• Support the planning and delivery of data, analytics and AI initiatives.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualifications in Data Science, Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Analytics, Public Policy, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Relevant experience in project management, digital transformation, analytics, AI, data management, policy development, or stakeholder engagement.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Interest in emerging technologies and their application in the public sector.
• Experience with data analytics, AI initiatives, or digital transformation projects will be advantageous.
