Job description

What the role is:

The officer will play a key role in bridging operational needs with technical AI capabilities. You will help translate business challenges into viable, scalable AI products. Working in close partnership with internal and external stakeholders, you will support end-to-end product development—from user discovery and proof-of-concept to deployment and lifecycle management.

What you will be working on:

• Engage stakeholders, frontline officers, and policy leads across MOM to uncover workflow challenges, identify high-impact AI opportunities, and define clear business outcomes.
• Translate user requirements into comprehensive product specifications, user stories, and feature roadmaps.
• Work with technical teams to co-develop, test, and productionise AI applications
• Facilitate technical scoping, evaluate system architectures, and ensure algorithmic solutions comply with Whole-of-Government (WOG) ICT and AI governance frameworks.
• Manage product sprints, feature prioritisation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and pilot rollouts.
• Establish key performance metrics (e.g., model accuracy, operational throughput, user adoption) to track and report on post-implementation impact.
• Drive change management plans, conduct user training, and craft operational playbooks to facilitate smooth user transition to AI-assisted workflows.
• Advocate responsible AI adoption and promote AI literacy across MOM divisions.

What we are looking for:

• Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline.
