Job summary

Tripartite Alliance Limited (TAL) is a Singapore-based CLG jointly established by MOM, NTUC and SNEF. The incumbent will join the Advisory team for TAFEP, providing advisory services on fair employment practices and workplace fairness across multiple touchpoints in Singapore.

The role involves guiding customers on employment disputes, including discrimination cases, and following through to case closure, while maintaining databases and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in human resources, customer service, or counselling.
• Ability to handle difficult or sensitive issues calmly and professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide advisory services on fair employment practices, labour legislations and workplace fairness issues through all touchpoints (email, phone, video conference and in person).
• Advise customers on employment disputes, including discrimination cases, and guide options and recourse to disputes until case closure.
• Assess contractual terminations, involuntary resignations on wrongful dismissal, including discrimination-related cases, and follow through until case closure.
• Develop and maintain accurate customer-related databases for collation and reporting purposes.
• Undertake advisory-related process improvement and/or ad hoc projects where required.

Job Responsibilities

The incumbent will be part of the Advisory team with the Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP).

Job responsibilities:

• Provide advisory services on fair employment practices, labour legislations and workplace fairness issues through all touchpoints (over email, phone, video conference and in person);
• Advise customers on matters related to employment disputes, including discrimination cases and give guidance on options and possible recourse to the disputes and follow through until case closure;
• Assess contractual terminations, involuntary resignations on wrongful dismissal, including those related to workplace discrimination and follow through until case closure;
• Develop and maintain accurate customer-related databases for collation and reporting purposes;
• Undertake advisory-related process improvement and/or ad hoc projects where required.

Job Requirements

• Prior 2-3 years' experience in human resources, customer service or counselling is an added advantage.
• Able to handle difficult customers and/or sensitive issues calmly, empathetically and professionally.
• Have a positive attitude and an interest in helping individuals.
• Must be meticulous and possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate well and write concisely.Must be a team player who can work with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Proficient in basic IT programmes like MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
