Job summary

Belfor Asia Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced HR professional to manage Talent Acquisition, onboarding, payroll, and HR operations across Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia. You will liaise with managers and agencies, coordinate offers, maintain records and ensure compliance with local labour laws.

The role requires at least 5 years of HR experience, strong organisational skills, and the ability to drive process improvements in a regional setting across APAC.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of HR experience across recruitment, onboarding and payroll.
• Solid knowledge of the Employment Act in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan.

Job description

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

• Manage end-to-end recruitment activities across Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia, including job posting, candidate sourcing, screening, interview coordination, reference checks, offer preparation and onboarding

• Liaise with hiring managers and external recruitment agencies on job requirements, candidate sourcing, interview feedback and hiring decisions
• Facilitate salary offer discussions, prepare employment offers and coordinate approval processes
• Manage pre-employment documentation and serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process to ensure a smooth employee experience.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management

• Support end-to-end HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee documentation, contract administration, HR letters and employee records management

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems, payroll databases and personnel files
• Support employee lifecycle activities, including probation confirmations, transfers, promotions, contract renewals and separations
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with employment policies, procedures and local labour regulations.

Payroll, Benefits & HR Administration

• Coordinate monthly payroll inputs for Singapore and Malaysia, including new hires, leavers, salary adjustments, leave records, deductions and other payroll-related updates
• Liaise with payroll vendors and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Administer employee benefits programmes, including medical insurance, claims, wellness initiatives and vendor coordination
• Support statutory and compliance requirements, including CPF, work pass administration, IR8A/IR21 submissions and other employment-related documentation where applicable.

Employee Relations & Employee Experience

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee enquiries regarding HR policies, payroll, benefits, leave administration and employee life cycle processes
• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures and support employees on day-to-day HR matters
• Assist in employee relations matters and workplace issue resolution in partnership with management and the Head of HR
• Support employee engagement initiatives, staff welfare programmes, company events and internal communications.

HR Reporting, Compliance & Projects

• Prepare HR reports, maintain recruitment and employee records, and provide regular updates on HR metrics and hiring status
• Support HR audits, compliance reviews and policy documentation activities
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, filing, tracking and reporting efficiency
• Provide administrative and project support to the Head of HR, Asia on regional HR initiatives and other ad hoc HR projects.

Additional Responsibilities

• Support regional HR activities across Singapore, Taiwan and Malaysia as required
• Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by the Head of HR, Asia.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of HR experience
• Good working knowledge of the Employment Act in Singapore, Malaysia and Taiwan is essential
• Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Process-oriented mindset with a track record of driving operational improvements
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to advise employees and leadership confidently on compliance matters.
