Job summary

InternSG in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to troubleshoot, repair and maintain production machinery across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems. You will minimize downtime and ensure reliability through planned maintenance and proactive improvements.

You will collaborate with production teams, coordinate with OEMs and contractors, manage spare parts, and document calibrations, SOPs and maintenance history.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3–5 years of repair/maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with industrial automation, preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Experience in machine installation, commissioning or improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair production machinery to minimize downtime.
• Plan, schedule and execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers and external service contractors for support.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement within budget.
• Lead or participate in installation, commissioning, modification, automation projects.
• Support M&E, plant utilities and building facility maintenance.
• Maintain maintenance records, calibration history and SOPs.
• Attend audits and provide documentation and corrective actions as required.
• Ensure all activities comply with safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Participate in standby duty and respond to breakdowns outside hours when required.
