Job summary

AbbVie Singapore is launching the Attach & Train Programme, a 15-month on-the-job training within the Engineering team. You will support maintenance for manufacturing equipment and utilities, contribute to reliability initiatives and continuous improvement, and collaborate with engineers and technicians across cross-functional teams.

Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents and hold a BEng in Mechanical Engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Fresh graduates welcome).
• Experience with rotating and static equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of CMMS, reliability principles, GMP requirements and predictive maintenance strategies; proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Support preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance for manufacturing equipment and utility systems.
• Assist equipment troubleshooting, breakdown investigations and corrective actions.
• Support maintenance planning, work order management and CMMS documentation.
• Participate in maintenance shutdowns, inspections and equipment improvement activities.
• Assist with equipment reliability initiatives and root cause investigations.
• Support data collection, trend analysis and maintenance optimization.

TheAttach & Train Programmeis a structured talent development programme designed to build skilled talent for Singapore’s advanced biomedical manufacturing sector through practical, industry-based training that develops the technical skills and capabilities needed to support the industry’s current and future workforce needs.

As aMaintenance EngineerTrainee, your development will take place througha 15-month structured on-the-job training programmewithin ourEngineering team.You will work alongside experienced professionals to support maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and utility systems, contributing to equipment troubleshooting, reliability initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Due to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements, applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.

WhatYou’llDo

• Support preventive,predictiveand corrective maintenance activities for manufacturing equipment and utility systems.

• Assistwith equipment troubleshooting, breakdown investigations and the implementation of corrective actions.

• Support maintenance planning, work ordermanagementand documentation within the CMMS.

• Work closely with engineers,techniciansand cross-functional teams to build practical maintenance experience.

• Demonstrate continuous learning,teamworkand professional development to support future growth in engineering.

• Carry out other maintenance-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
