Job summary

GLAXO WELLCOME MANUFACTURING PTE LTD invites applications for its Attach and Train Programme (AnT), a 15‑month structured on‑the‑job training track in Singapore’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing sector. Trainees gain hands‑on experience, industry skills, and mentorship in a world‑leading GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Control or Electrical engineering.
• Instrumentation experience in process/pharma industry.
• Understanding of local codes and Engineering Standards.
• SAP knowledge in Maintenance module is an advantage.
• Strong communication and root cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plant modification implementations and capital projects per specifications and approved procedures.
• Lead instrumentation troubleshooting and drive continuous improvements to the process plant.
• Maintain site equipment and facilities to GMP standards and regulatory expectations (inspection readiness).
• Apply continuous improvement mindset to 5S and maintenance/calibration activities.
• Provide input to project teams for capital projects and maintenance plans for new equipment.
• Support development of Engineering Standards and Engineering Policy.
• Monitor safety and audit readiness within the discipline and participate in audits.
• Supervise and mentor technicians to achieve department objectives.
• Contribute to annual operating budget planning for the section.
