AbbVie Singapore invites applications for the Attach & Train Programme, a 15-month structured on-the-job training track within our API Manufacturing team. You will work alongside experts to produce high-quality API while complying with GMP/GDP, EHS, and quality standards.
Fresh graduates are welcome. The programme targets developing technical proficiency in DeltaV, MES, batch documentation, and continuous improvement in a Singapore-based manufacturing site. Singapore Citizens/PRs preferred.

The Attach & Train Programme is a structured talent development programme designed to build skilled talent for Singapore’s advanced biomedical manufacturing sector through practical, industry-based training that develops the technical skills and capabilities needed to support the industry’s current and future workforce needs.
As aPharmaceutical Technologist, your development will take place through a 15-month structured on-the-job trainingprogramme within ourAPIManufacturing team.You will work alongside experienced professionals to support the production of high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients(API)under rigorous quality and compliance standards, helping to ensure a safe and reliable supply of medicines to patients.
Due to the nature of the programme and its eligibility requirements, applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Operational and Technical
Execute batch manufacturing instructions with flawless adherence toestablishedprocedures and process-critical steps.
Independently perform key API processing unit operations (e.g., charging, vessel transfer, filtration, drying, pack-off) with minimal supervision.
Verify batch recipes and manufacturing documentation, provide input on DCS recipe design, and support digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives to drive manufacturing excellence.
Safety
Maintain a safe working environment in line with EHS policies,participatein the site Emergency Response Team, and contribute to safety risk assessments and process hazard analyses.
Quality
Ensuretimelyresolution of batch documentation errors and complete all records per GMP/GDP standards,keeping the plant audit-ready at all times.
Communicate issues promptly to stakeholders andfulfillongoing training requirements.
Schedule
Deliver assigned tasks on time, proactively managing complexities to prevent delays, and escape scheduling risks promptly to the Manufacturing Supervisor.
The opportunity to grow with AbbVie's only manufacturing site in Asia,locatedin Singapore, gaining exposure to cGMP manufacturing within Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) operations.
Hands-on technicalproficiencyin key API unit operations — including solid and liquid charging, vessel transfer, filtration, drying and pack-off — while operatingDeltaVand POMS/MES systems.
Developa strong foundationin batch documentation, quality/safety compliance (GMP/GDP, PHA)and continuous improvement.
Bacherlor’sDegree in Chemical Engineering/Pharmaceutical Science or equivalent technical relateddegree. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Exposure toDeltaVdistributed control systems and MES through internships, projects or prior experience would be an advantage.
Excellent interpersonal strengths and communication skills.
Able to work comfortably in 12-hour rotating shift (Day/Night).
