Job summary

Talent Trader Group is looking for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to own reliability and maintenance of critical plant equipment in our Singapore operations. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, and drive improvements to keep production running smoothly.

You will work closely with production teams, engineers and external vendors to implement RCA, FMEA, and cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining accurate maintenance records and

Qualifications

• Hands-on troubleshooting of plant machinery and production equipment.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, schematics and equipment manuals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in RCA, troubleshooting and equipment reliability improvement.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery and production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic issues.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime through root-cause analysis.
• Develop and improve preventive maintenance programs to enhance reliability.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support installation, commissioning, upgrades and modification of equipment.
• Coordinate with production teams, technicians and vendors for servicing and repairs.

Our client is looking for a hands-onMaintenance Engineer – Plant Equipmentto join their engineering team and take ownership of the reliability, maintenance and continuous improvement of critical plant equipment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Performpreventive and corrective maintenanceon plant machinery and production equipment.

• Troubleshoot and diagnosemechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulicequipment issues.

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and minimiseproduction downtimethrough effective root-cause analysis.

• Develop and improvepreventive maintenance programmesto enhance equipment reliability and availability.

• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities forprocess and maintenance improvements.

• Support installation, commissioning, upgrading and modification of new and existing plant equipment.

• Work closely with production, engineering and external vendors to resolve recurring equipment issues.

• ConductRoot Cause Analysis (RCA), FMEA and corrective/preventive actionsfor equipment failures.

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdown history, spare parts and equipment performance.

• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for equipment servicing, repairs and technical support.

• Ensure maintenance activities comply withWSH, safety and environmental requirements.

• Participate incontinuous improvement, reliability and cost-reduction projects.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma inMechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related Engineering discipline.

• Experience inplant equipment, industrial machinery or manufacturing maintenance.

• Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills in mechanical and/or electrical systems.

• Good understanding ofpreventive and predictive maintenancepractices.

• Experience inRCA, troubleshooting and equipment reliability improvement.

• Able to read and interpretengineering drawings, electrical schematics and equipment manuals.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working closely with production teams, technicians, contractors and equipment vendors.

• Able to work independently and respond effectively to urgent equipment breakdowns.
