Job summary

BOYD TECHNOLOGIES (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a lead maintenance engineer to oversee mechanical and electrical maintenance of production equipment and automation lines. You will also manage facilities and a technician team to drive cost-saving improvements and ensure smooth operations on the shop floor.

The role requires hands-on leadership, the ability to work independently, and a willingness to support overtime and weekend work to meet production goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a production environment maintaining equipment and leading a team.
• Ability to work independently with initiative.
• Willingness to support overtime and weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on production equipment and automation lines to ensure optimal operation
• Manage building and facility maintenance to support production needs and safety standards
• Implement modifications and improvements focused on cost-saving and operational efficiency
• Lead and coordinate a team of technicians in maintaining production equipment and tooling
• Schedule and oversee contractor work to meet specifications and deadlines
• Set up tooling on vertical punch presses to support production requirements
• Maintain and account for workshop tools and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and organization in the maintenance area
• Conduct activities related to cost effectiveness, waste reduction, lean processes, and site risk assessments as assigned by management
