Job summary

MELIORIS RECRUITMENT SERVICES PTE. LTD.

is seeking a site supervisor to oversee mechanical and electrical installations at a mixed-use development, ensuring compliance with M&E standards. The candidate should hold a Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, preferably IES Resident Technical Officer registration, and have at least five years of building services supervision experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from local polytechnic or ITE/BCA.
• Preferably registered with IES as a Resident Technical Officer.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in building services supervision of M&E installations for local institutional/healthcare development.
• Familiar with local regulations/codes for M&E installations.
• Hands-on knowledge of installation work and ability to identify poor workmanship.
• Experience with pre-commissioning and commissioning tests.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site supervision of mechanical & electrical installations for a mixed-use development.
• Prepare progress and defects reports using Word, Excel, AutoCAD and Adobe.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and codes for M&E installations.
• Identify non-conformities and address poor workmanship.
• Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders.
• Assist with pre- and post-commissioning activities.

Job description

Required for site supervision of mechanical & electrical installations at mixed-use development.

• Possess a Diploma issued by a local polytechnic or Trade Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from the ITE or BCA and preferably registered with IES (Institution of Engineers Singapore) as a Resident Technical Officer.
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in building services in the supervision of mechanical & electrical installations (including Fire Fighting and Alarm Installations) for local institutional/healthcare development.
• Must be familiar with local Regulations/Codes for mechanical & electrical installations (or services) related to building projects.
• Hands-on knowledge of installation work, able to identify poor installation practices, and bad workmanship.
• Know how pre-commissioning and commissioning tests are being carried out and interpret test results.
• Diligent in walking the site to check for non-conformity and bad installation practices.
• Past work experience in healthcare/residential/institutional projects is preferred.
• Able to prepare progress and defects report using Microsoft Words, Excel, AutoCAD and Adobe.
• Able to start work immediately.
