Job summary

A1 Main Contractor in Singapore East is seeking a Senior M&E Manager to lead M&E services for building and infrastructure projects. You will oversee feasibility, design reviews, budgeting, procurement, and quality assurance while coordinating with consultants and contractors to deliver value.

The role requires a degree in M&E/Building Services, strong MEP knowledge, proven leadership, and a track record in project execution.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction technologies.
• Proven ability to lead teams and coordinate with consultants/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&E services proposals for building and infrastructure projects, covering feasibility, design, budgeting, procurement, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to review designs and value engineering proposals.
• Support sourcing, tender evaluation, and appointment of consultants and contractors.
• Review M&E designs, shop drawings, and proposals for compliance, functionality, and operational efficiency.
• Drive value engineering initiatives to improve project outcomes and profitability.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, defects, and long-term asset replacement planning.

Our client, a renowned main contractor firm, has an opportunity for a Winner to join the Team as a Senior M&E Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead M&E services proposals for building and infrastructure projects, covering feasibility, design, budgeting, procurement, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants, and contractors to review designs and value engineering proposals.
• Support sourcing, tender evaluation, and appointment of consultants and contractors.
• Review M&E designs, shop drawings, and proposals for compliance, functionality, and operational efficiency.
• Drive value engineering initiatives to improve project outcomes and profitability.
• Manage project delivery, budgets, defects, and long-term asset replacement planning.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or related field).
• Solid experience in MEP construction planning, equipment installation, and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, construction technologies, and quality/safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and coordinate with consultants/contractors.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Commercial awareness with a focus on cost, quality, and productivity.
