Job summary

ACHIEVE CAREER CONSULTANT PTE LTD is seeking a seasoned M&E Construction Lead to drive site works on large‑scale building projects in Singapore. You will lead engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, coordinating with consultants on drawings, submissions and method statements.

The role requires 7–8 years of M&E construction experience, strong knowledge of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, and related systems, plus excellent stakeholder management and proactive communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 7–8 years of relevant M&E construction experience with main or M&E contractors.
• Experience on commercial, industrial, or institutional projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, sanitary/plumbing, lifts & escalators, and pool systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate M&E site works with engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors on drawings, submissions, RFIs, materials, and method statements.
• Monitor M&E progress, quality, safety and authority compliance.
• Manage M&E work schedules, manpower, site coordination and subcontractor performance.
• Review subcontractor claims, variations and technical documentation.
• Coordinate installation, testing & commissioning and authority inspections; maintain as-built records.

Our client is an established main contractor with a strong track record in delivering large-scale building and development projects in Singapore. Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate M&E site works, including engineers, supervisors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors on drawings, technical submissions, RFIs, materials and method statements.
• Monitor M&E progress, quality, safety and compliance with approved drawings and authority requirements.
• Manage M&E work schedules, manpower, site coordination and subcontractor performance.
• Review subcontractor claims, variations, material submissions and technical documentation.
• Coordinate equipment installation, Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and authority inspections.
• Maintain project, QA/QC and completion documentation, including as-built drawings.
• Support Value Engineering and cost-saving initiatives for M&E works.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7–8 years’ relevant M&E construction experience with main or M&E contractors.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, mixed-development or institutional projects.
• Strong knowledge of ACMV, electrical, fire protection, sanitary/plumbing, lifts & escalators and swimming pool systems.
• Experience in M&E coordination, installation and T&C.
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Independent, proactive and able to drive project deliverables.

OTHER INFORMATION:

• Location: Depending on project
• Working hours: 5 Days and OT
• Salary: up to S$7,500 and Bonus (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)
