Job summary

Hua Siah Construction Pte Ltd is seeking an M&E Coordinator to assist in planning, controlling and coordinating mechanical and electrical works on building projects. You will check drawings against specifications and coordinate with site engineers to ensure a smooth workflow.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Engineering, a Mechanical/Electrical background, familiarity with site activities, strong communication across levels, and at least 3 years of building construction experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background or equivalent.
• Familiar with construction site activities.
• Co-ordinate, liaise and communicate with people at all levels.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building construction.
• Able to work under tight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, controlling and coordinating mechanical and electrical works.
• Checks discrepancies between project drawings and technical specifications.
• Liaises with site engineers to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Conducts M&E coordination meetings.
• Schedules and monitors M&E work progress.
• Monitors M&E works documents and shop drawings coordination.
• Liaises with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Negotiates approval for M&E changes to the project.
