Job summary

Jia Hong Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks an experienced M&E Engineer to lead and oversee all M&E activities on construction projects.

You will ensure adherence to design specifications, drawings, and project timelines through effective coordination and review of drawings with civil, structural, and architectural teams. The role requires reviewing contract documents, understanding the scope of works, monitoring variations, and ensuring safe work practices on site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of M&E construction experience with project management exposure.
• Experience in landed housing, residential, hotel or commercial building projects is preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Building Services or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all M&E engineering activities in construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, approved drawings, and project timelines.
• Carry out drawing review and coordinate among disciplines within MEP for integration into civil/structural and architectural works.
• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications and drawings.
• Review contract documents and maintain clear understanding of scope of works.
• Monitor variations/VOs and issue back charges in a timely manner.
• Ensure work activities are carried out in a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in landed housing, residential, hotel, or commercial building projects, with strong M&E project management expertise and at least one completed project cycle.
• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related disciplines
