Job summary

ENCASA Asia Employment Services LLP is seeking a Site-based M&E Engineer to lead and oversee all M&E activities on construction projects including Commercial, Private Residential, A&A, R&R, ELU and NRP works. The role is 5.5 days on site with a competitive salary and opportunities for skill development.

You will review drawings, coordinate among mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines, ensure works comply with specifications, and manage contract scope and variations

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in the construction industry.
• Ability to review drawings and coordinate among disciplines (MEP).
• Ensure M&E works meet specifications and drawings.
• Understand contract documents and scope of works.
• Monitor variations and issue back charges promptly.
• Maintain safe working environment on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all M&E engineering activities in construction projects, ensuring adherence to design specifications, approved drawings, and timelines.
• Carry out drawing review and coordination among various disciplines within MEP, incorporating into civil/structural and architectural.
• Ensure M&E works are carried out according to specifications/drawings.
• Review of contract documents and understanding of scope of works.
• Monitor VO's and issue back charges in a timely manner.
• Ensure work activities are carried out in a safe working environment.

• Monitoring of VOs and issue back charges in a timely manner.
• Ensure work activities are carried out in safe working environment.

Requirements

• Relevant experience in the construction industry
• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related disciplines.
