Job summary

CONSTRUCT PEOPLE PTE LTD is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator to plan, control and coordinate mechanical and electrical works on site in Singapore. You will check drawings, monitor documents and manage sub-contractors to ensure timely completion in line with contract drawings and specifications.

The role requires a Diploma in M&E or Building Services, at least 5 years in construction, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in M&E or Building Services.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in Construction Sector.
• Independent with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning, controlling and coordinating of mechanical and electrical works
• Check drawings and technical specifications for discrepancies and report to Project Manager
• Monitor all M&E work documents
• Shop drawings coordination
• Schedule, supervise and manage sub-contractors in order to carry out works accurately and timely in accordance to the contract drawings and specifications
• Liaise and work with relevant authorities / sub-contractors / clients on shop drawings / equipment submissions, inspections, testing requirements and commissioning
• Conduct M&E coordination meetings
• Report M&E matters, progress and updates to Project Manager
• Communicate and collaborate with site staff effectively to ensure project progress smoothly
• Negotiate approval for M&E changes to the project and make recommendations in accordance with local regulations
