Job summary

FK Human Resources Private Limited in Singapore is seeking an experienced M&E Project Engineer to lead mechanical and electrical engineering activities across construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specs and timelines.

You will plan, schedule, coordinate, and integrate M&E installation and commissioning, supervise subcontractors, monitor progress, and liaise with clients and authorities to resolve issues while upholding safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Building or QS related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction with M&E project management.
• Solid knowledge of M&E services and systems.
• Good written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all M&E engineering activities in construction projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, approved drawings, and project timelines.
• Manage the planning, scheduling, coordination, and integration of M&E systems installation and commissioning.
• Supervise M&E subcontractors and vendors to ensure quality work, safety standards, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Monitor the progress of M&E works and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and other departments to resolve technical issues, discrepancies, and ensure seamless integration of M&E systems with other building components.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors on M&E related matters, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
• Ensure adherence to Safe Work Procedures and safety regulations throughout the M&E installation and commissioning process.
• Prepare and submit M&E documentation, reports, and progress updates as required by the project schedule.

• Solid technical knowledge of M&E services.
• Good written communication skills.
• Able to work on multiple projects, within simultaneous timeline.
